Audiences have found the music in Letters from the Front quite moving and we are often asked "where was it taken from?" The music in the play (except for period music) is an original score commissioned especially for Letters from the Front.
The unique sound created by the husband and wife team of Johnny and Marissa Woodall is the result of completely different musical backgrounds. Marissa, a classically trained pianist, earned her Bachelor of music in piano performance, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is a professional accompanist and musical instructor.
Johnny’s background is in rock, jazz and blues. Their company, Miracle Music, provides original music for films, A/V productions and live shows, and has received three CINE Golden Eagles for film scoring. Miracle Music also maintains its own recording facility: Cherokee Recording Services.
