A Most Unlikely Theatre

Ft. Greely, Alaska did not have a base theatre, but that didn't stop base commander LTC Harold Wheeler, and Jack Ross, C, Comm Rec Div, from coming up with a unique solution: Why not convert the base's airplane hanger into a theatre?  And that's just what they did.

The aircraft were moved out and two flatbed trailers were pulled in and positioned side by side, providing a sturdy platform to build a stage for Letters From the Front.  Bleachers from the baseball field were rolled in for seating.  This was one of our favorite shows!
