Letters From the Front:WWII

Veteran LFTF stars Neal Matthews and Della Cole receive a special award from Col. Steve Holtman, Commander, 39th Support Group, Area II, S. Kores

After more than four years of development, LETTERS FROM THE FRONT:WWII was premiered to audiences in the Pacific Rim during late summer/early fall of 1999.  How well did it go over?  According to Capt. James Wylie, USN Commander of Fleet Activities, Yokosuka, Japan, it was "Better than Saving Private Ryan."  Neal Matthews was reteamed with Della Cole, who originated the role of Katharine Hartgrove in 1991.  The two previously starred together in the 1997 World Tour.
