Since 1991 we've played at hundreds of military installations around the world and we know that few of them have venues outfitted for a large scale theatrical production. For that reason we bring everything needed to convert four walls into a fully functioning theatre. And it all fits into a single truck (seen above-left being unloaded at Great Lakes Drill Hall). A large hydraulic lift gate compensates for differences in height between our truck and your loading dock. If you don't have a loading dock, the lift gate allows for safe unloading to ground level.
All of our heavy gear is on casters and fits through a normal 36" x 80" doorway or onto a 7-1/2' deep freight elevator, or even onto a standard aircraft pallet. We also carry an assortment of ramps to overcome curbs and doorway lips. If there is no direct access to backstage from a loading dock, the larger ramps allow for loading from the auditorium floor onto the stage, although this adds to load-in/load-out times and requires a few more people for safety purposes.
Safety is Always job-one, which is why we bring an assortment of handtrucks, ladders, tools, work tables, etc. All costumes, props, tools and supplies are stored in custom designed road boxes for easy access. We pride ourselves on our excellent safety record and for leaving a venue as good as we found it.
