Although this letter from Kelsey Robinson did not fit the criteria of the contest and therefore could not be entered into the competition, we were so impressed with its creative, imaginative approach, as well as with the time and care that went into making it, that we had to share it with you.  Because Kelsey glued actual pieces of candy to the letter, it is undeniably the "sweetest" letter we received.  Unfortunately, military postal restrictions prevented us from mailing it overseas.  Instead, we made the photo you see above, printed it out letter-size and sent it along with all the other letters.  We've mounted the original in a special display frame and will keep it as part of the "Letters TO the Front" contest memorabilia.  Thanks Kelly for your unique entry.  Because of the extra effort you made, we're sending you a contest T-shirt and a special certificate of appreciation.
