LETTERS from the FRONT
It was North to Alaska for the 96 tour. The show was packed onto a C-141 and flown to Anchorage where it played at Elmendorf AFB and Ft. Richardson. It was then trucked up to Ft. Greely, near Fairbanks. The Alaskan leg of the tour was a test by DOD Overseas Shows to see if a production as large as LETTERS from the FRONT could withstand "hardship" conditions -- a prerequisite for greenlighting an overseas tour. We passed the test and started making plans for our first "World Tour" (see 1997 World Tour).
