When we played Europe in 1997 it was with the Desert Storm edition of the play. For the 2000 season, we return to Europe (including England this time) with a new edition set against a war that left much of the continent in ruins and destroyed millions of lives: World War Two. Many of the installations we are playing at were originally Nazi strongholds, surrendered to the Allies at the end of the war. It is a land rich in the history of humankind, and haunted by memories of the most bitter conflict the world has ever known. We finish the overseas segment of World Tour 2000 in Iceland.
This season marks the first time that our overseas tour comes in the middle of our stateside tour. Speaking of the stateside tour, we've made a point to visit as many new installations this season as possible. Many of these sites are training bases, which are our favorite.
