Since our first tour in 1992 demand for our play has steadily grown. Through 1996, tours had been scheduled every other year. Starting with the 1997 tour, Letters From the Front became an annual event. Many of those in the military who had seen our play expressed the feeling that it would be a real moral booster for those serving overseas. Support for this idea continued to grow and a number of very determined individuals at DOD Overseas Shows, Morale-Welfare & Recreation Services, Army Music & Theatre, and the Defense Commissary Agency worked tirelessly to make it happen. |
