1. The 2005 "Letters TO the Front" Letter Writing Campaign runs from Labor Day (9/5/05) through Veterans' Day (11/11/05).

2. WRITE A LETTER OF SUPPORT TO AN AMERICAN SERVICE MEMBER on a sheet of paper no larger than 8 1/2" x 11", between 100 - 200 words in length, beginning with something like "Dear Service Member, I just want to say thanks for . . ." Letter must be legible.  Not all of the troops are able to respond to the letters that are sent, but if you would like for someone to write you back, your address must be at the top of the letter.

3. Mail your LETTER OF SUPPORT by November 11th to:

4. Rector Roberts Productions, Inc. opens, sorts and reads all letters (to insure that no inappropriate letters are sent through this program) prior to shipping the letters overseas.  All appropriate letters are sent to American service members.   Letters that are not considered appropriate are discarded and contain one or more of the following elements: 1) references to brutal injury or death, 2) anti-American statements, 3) letters that promote a religious or political doctrine.

5. Groups that would like to send their letters in a large batch or groups who have participated in "Letters TO the Front" in the past, please go to the section marked "Info for Groups Who have Previously Participated."

6. Eligibility: anyone can participate in the 2005 "Letters TO the Front" Letter Writing Campaign.  More than one letter can be submitted by an individual.  There are no prizes awarded to individual submitting letters and no purchase is necessary.

7. Publicity and Liability Release: All participants agree that sponsors may use name and submitted letter for, but not limited to, promotional purposes without compensation.
